Get the most out of Amusement Expo
Making the trip to Vegas for Amusement Expo? Here’s how to maximize your time at the show and make sure you get a great return on your investment.
#1 – Map Out Your Course
Planning ahead can save you time and money, and with the tools that are available at www.AmusementExpo.org, there’s no reason to show up unprepared.
To begin, go to Attendees/My Login and create a profile for the site. This will allow you to plan your experience in 3 easy steps.
Step 1: Look through the Exhibitor list.
Step 2: Star the Exhibitors whose booths you’d like to visit during the show. (For example, LAI Games – Booth 145!)
Step 3: Print Your Personalized Planner – this includes a floorplan with your favorite exhibitors highlighted, so you can map your route and make sure you see all the vendors you’re interested in.
#2 – Make Appointments with Vendors
Make appointments to meet with your Distributor and Manufacturers ahead of time so they’ll be able to give you their undivided attention at the show. To make an appointment with LAI Games staff, shoot us an email at sales@laigames.com.
#3 – Register for the Education Sessions
The entire first day of the Expo is dedicated to one objective – to help you be more successful. The AMOA/AAMA have designed compelling educational sessions that address timely topics and provide useful information for your business. Here’s a sample of what you can learn…
- How to create a positive guest experience
- Virtual Reality Trends for Consumers and LBEs
- The Evolution of Payment: Card to Cash to Mobile
- The Art of Merchandising
And much, much more!
Once you’ve created your Amusement Expo Attendee Profile, you can make a personalized itinerary by starring the events you want to attend. You can even export it to Outlook to make sure you stay on schedule.
#4 – Grow Your Network
Some of the best ideas and collaborations happen outside of show hours. Attend the networking events to develop relationships with others in the industry and reconnect with friends.
Networking Lunch:
Tuesday, February 27, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Room: The Westgate Las Vegas, Ballroom A
All Industry Gala:
Tuesday, February 27, 5:15 PM – 7:15 PM
Room: The Westgate Las Vegas, Ballroom A
BONUS TIP: Stay at the official event hotel, The Westgate, for even more networking opportunities. Your next elevator ride could be a productive one.
#5 – Talk to the Technical Specialists
Do you ever run into issues with your products and wish you could speak face to face with an expert? Many manufacturers will have their top technical specialists on-hand and ready to answer your questions. LAI Games Sales Operation Specialist David Loggins and Product Testing and Analysis expert Justin Randall will both be on hand in Booth 145 if you have any questions about our products.
#6 – Experience the Best in VR
Thinking about adding a VR attraction for your guests? For the first time, Amusement Expo will have a special emphasis on Virtual Reality, partnering with industry veteran Bob Cooney on a special educational track with lots of great info. There will also be a dedicated VR area on the show floor where buyers and sellers in the VR market can connect.
And don’t miss the industry’s first unattended VR attraction, Virtual Rabbids: The Big Ride in LAI Games booth #145. It’s operated and serviced like a traditional coin-op game, and offers big thrills for both first-time users and VR enthusiasts alike. Be sure to add this MUST-SEE ride to your show agenda!
