LAI Games’ Speed of Light was enthusiastically received at its Japanese launch at the AOU Show in Chiba, Japan last week. R S Company, Ltd., the exclusive distributor for Speed of Light in Japan, displayed the game in their booth at the show. Crowds of attendees gathered to play the game and watch others rise to the challenge.
Roque Grau, Director for R S Company, said, “The first time we saw Speed of Light we understood its potential for the Japanese market. It is an aesthetically beautiful, unique and new concept. The game is very easy to understand and play, but at the same time is quite challenging for serious players. The response to Speed of Light at the AOU Show has been impressive and we strongly believe this is just the start of a very fruitful collaboration with LAI Games.”
About Speed of Light
Speed of Light is a truly unique redemption game. It consists of an 8-foot high, visibly arresting display of lights arranged in a large matrix in front of the player(s). The objective is to press as many illuminated buttons as you can as quickly as possible to earn points and tickets. The result is a thrilling redemption game that tests players’ speed and reflexes, while giving onlookers an entertaining show in the process. Energetic music and lighting effects accompany game play. Speed of Light was recently awarded the BMIGaming.com / The Stinger Report ‘Best of Show’ Award – Silver Medal for the 2011 IAAPA Expo.
