LAI Games, a leading supplier of amusement, redemption and prize vending games will undertake a restructure of its senior management team to both increase the focus on the sales and marketing function and to build greater depth at the corporate and manufacturing level.
As part of the change Marshall Ashdown will step down as LAI Games CEO based in Singapore and into the new role of International Sales Director based in the UK. A new LAI Games Group CEO will be appointed in Singapore and the board of LAI Games has commenced a recruitment process to secure a new corporate leader for the business.
Chairman of the LAI Group, Malcolm Steinberg stated that “for the last two years, Marshall Ashdown as CEO of the business has done an incredible job constantly travelling between the manufacturing base in Asia and our main sales markets of USA and Europe. The business has experienced strong growth under his leadership. However, with his family still based in the UK it has been a difficult time for Marshall and this restructure will allow him to be UK based and bring more focus to the sales and marketing functions of the business. With our corporate and manufacturing base in Asia it was decided that we would add depth and strength to the management by bringing in a new CEO that could apply more focus to the product development and manufacturing functions. We remain very excited about the growth opportunities in the market for LAI Games.”
The planned management changes will occur over a three month period from August to October to ensure a smooth transition and minimum of disruption to business operations.
